The Short Answer
On our estimates, office cleaning costs about £18 to £30 an hour per cleaner. A regular clean of a small office of around 100m² is £35 to £60 a visit and takes 1.5 to 2 hours.
One-off deep cleans cost more, £30 to £45 an hour or £1 to £3.50 per m². Larger offices are often priced per m² after a site visit.

How cleaning companies price it
Most cleaners base their price on how long it takes to get through everything on your list. For large or multi-floor offices, some companies price by the size of the space instead, per square foot or metre, which needs a site measurement or inspection first, because layouts vary too much for a fixed rate.
Contract cleaning priced by area is cheaper per m² the more often it happens. When we checked in October 2026, one trade price guide put a daily contract at £0.10 to £0.30 per m² per visit, two or three times a week at £0.20 to £0.50, and a one-off deep clean at £1 to £3.50. Weekly bills run from £35 to £500 or more depending on the size of the office and how often the cleaners come, before VAT.
Office windows are usually a separate visit, at about £20 to £50 a time on our estimates.
I'd write a short specification before asking for quotes: which rooms, how often, what's included, and when they can get in. It makes the quotes comparable.
Standard and deep cleans

A standard clean covers the day-to-day upkeep: emptying bins, vacuuming and mopping, wiping surfaces, and keeping kitchens and toilets hygienic. It doesn't need specialist kit, so it sits at the lower end of the range. A deep clean goes further, with descaling, cleaning behind and under furniture and sanitising the things people touch, and costs more per hour because it takes longer and uses extra products.
