How we make money

We think you should know exactly how this site is paid for.

• Quote requests. When you ask for quotes, your request goes to MyJobQuote, our quotes partner. Up to three local tradespeople who do that work can choose to buy your job and contact you. When a tradesperson buys it, MyJobQuote pays us a share. You never pay anything, and you're never obliged to go ahead.
• Nothing else, for now. We don't take payment from tradespeople, manufacturers or retailers to appear in a guide, and prices in our guides aren't influenced by who pays us.

The consent box on every quote form says exactly who your details go to. Our privacy policy explains what's shared and why.
